Posting a song after more than a month. I have not been able to record anything recently, so here is something I recorded a few months back.

Meanwhile, I have also been lucky to have done track singing for a kannada movie.
This marks my first contribution to a movie. :-)

Ilayanila(bit)

Posting a recording I did more than a year back. This recording was done as part of a demo cd I made for an audition.
I was lucky to get selected and finally sang for a Tamil album, which was released in London. The tamil pop album also featured playback singers Haricharan & Mahathi.

This one has only my voice, without any background music ;O)

To say the least, blogging has been a thrilling experience for this one song old music blogger!!! I am overwhelmed by the responses to my first song, though I am not sure if I deserved so much attention. :O)

Jan 10th was the birthday of Yesudas, my idol in music and my first inspiration to sing. The maestro turned 68 this year, and still continues to charm us with his golden voice.

I have recorded the first lines he rendered as a playback singer - a sloka "Jaathi Bheda..".
